Detox according to Ayurveda is not only cleansing the body or focusing on a specific organ, such as the liver or stomach. True detox means Shuddhi, or purification leading to achieving balance between mind, body and energy.

Ayurvedic detox
Detox is primarily to get rid of toxins from the body that cause inflammation. Ayurvedic cleansing combines many techniques – from the right approach to diet, through massages and cleansing treatments, to effective ways to balance the mind, such as meditation. What’s more, various herbs are used that naturally lead to the harmony of the whole body and improve the quality of life. All elements of the Ayurvedic cleansing program are designed to provide revitalization on all levels, i.e. physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
The pandemic has changed our lives, we experience a lot of stress during it. As a result, many people began to meditate more, do a lot of yoga and try to understand themselves and their bodies better. This situation also taught us that we need to understand our body better. And our task as Ayurvedic practitioners is to look at the body holistically. Ayurveda says if you go back to yourself, try to understand yourself, then the best thing you can do first is to purify yourself.
